BLACKPINK are killing the views with their newest release “Kill This Love“!
The group has set a new global record for the most YouTube views a music video has received within 24 hours. Their newest comeback release “Kill This Love” was able to achieve 56.6 million views within the first day, beating out Ariana Grande‘s “Thank U, Next,” which previously held the record with 55.4 million views, according to YouTube.
Meanwhile, their second fastest video was for their previous single “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” which currently sits at the #6 position with 36.2 million day-of views. Other K-pop artists with music videos within the top 10 include PSY (“Gentleman“), BTS (“Fake Love,” “Idol“) and TWICE (“Yes Or Yes“).
