With the wrapping up of their ‘Epilogue’ concert in Seoul, the release of their special album and the subsequent all-kill on music charts – the boys of BTS have taken over the Billboards once again!
Their latest release, the special album ‘HwaYangYeonHwa: Young Forever‘ has broken into the ‘Billboard 200‘ at #107!
This is BTS’ second time ranking on the ‘Billboard 200‘ since they ranked at #171 in December last year with their ‘HwaYangYeonHwa Pt. 2‘ EP. It also makes the boy group only the second K-pop act to land two consecutive releases on the chart after G-Dragon charted with ‘One of a Kind‘ (2012) at #161 and ‘Coup D’Etat Pt. 1‘ (2013) at #182.
‘Young Forever‘ also made it’s debut on the ‘World Albums‘ chart at #2 and on the ‘Heatseekers Albums‘ chart at #10!
The power boy group have also made another huge achievement on the ‘World Digital Songs‘ chart where they have landed a total of TEN entries on the chart. But that’s not all!
This achievement makes the group the first ever K-Pop act to control the top three spots on the ‘World Digital Singles‘ chart. It also makes them one of the few K-Pop acts to have a #1 on the chart, alongside artists PSY, Big Bang, 2NE1, G-Dragon and Taeyang.
Congratulations to BTS!
In other news, the boys will be headlining KCON New York and KCON Los Angeles! They are also reportedly planning to drop an MV for “Save ME” so stay tuned for more!
