The biggest dilemma of a foreign K-Pop fangirl, is our communal pain felt at the lack of concerts. Not to worry, Destination Kpop definitely understands your pain and wants to rectify it. So we’ve brought this post to make sure you catch up on the tours that are currently happening out there in the world, and even see little insights of the tour.
The summer of 2016 has been a good time for both old and new K-Pop groups. After this huge promotional period, many of our faves are getting ready to go on tour, or are already on tour. Check out the list below to find out who just finished their tour, who is currently on tour, and who’ll be gearing up to travel the world.
BTS On-stage Epilogue in Japan: On Tour
Our beloved Bangtan Boys have always created a lot of noise for their big stages, and tours. They’re currently performing live stages of their third album ‘Young Forever: Epilogue’ in Japan. ‘Young Forever’ is the last album in their Hwa Yeong Yeon Hwa (The Most Beautiful Moments in Life) series that ended early this year. They’ve prepared powerful stages for their title songs ‘Fire’ and ‘Save Me’. Though videos of the official concert haven’t been released yet, take a look at a performance of ‘Move’ at their last concert HYYH.
VIXX Live Fantasia Elysium: Coming Soon
The ‘concept idols’ are finally back with their official tour after the release of Zelos EP. VIXX have been known for pursuing dark and edgy concepts that isn’t common for the K-Pop world. They put their own twist on love songs and create beautiful stages that are characteristic of their name ‘Concept Idols’. They have often created a lot of uproar in the industry for maintaining a key eye for detail all throughout their promotions from album jakcets, to stage outfits to concert concepts. The concerts will be taking place from August 13-14 in the Olympics Gymnastics Stadium. Look at this amazing performance of ‘Love Letter’, a song written for their fans, at their last concert Utopia.
GOT7: Fly in USA – On Tour
This 7 member boy-group from JYP Entertainment wrapped up promotions for their album Fliht Log: Departure early on this year and has been on Tour ever since. Possibly the biggest tours they’ve ever done, ‘Fly’ has taken these boys all over Asia, and now North America. The tour was completed successfully in Shanghai, Singapore, Bangkok and in Korea. The boys are currently touring in USA and will soon head to Hong Kong for the last leg of their tour on July 30th. Check out this official backstage video of Fly in Shanghai.
WINNER EXIT Tour in Japan: On Tour
The YG boygroup has been on tour for a long time now, so much so that the fans are eagerly waiting for their second album in their EXIT series. In glorious YG Fashion, the boys finished their EXIT tour in Korea in April and went onto film a JTBC variety show for children called ‘Half Moon Friends’. Winner is currently on tour in Japan, wooing their inner circles with Japanese releases of their songs, and some comical renditions of hit songs from YG artists. Their last concert in Kobe Memorial Hall was on July 18th. Look at this official video by JijiPress about Winner’s EXIT Tour in Japan.https://youtu.be/ok37WL3rP84

The boygroup will be holding a show in LA on July 30th, followed by a show in Grand Prairie, Texas on July 31st. Here is a performance of DxDxD at Fukoka.https://youtu.be/OjRodnfiPBo
B.A.P Live On Earth Awake (Japan): On Tour
TS Entertainment’s boygroup B.A.P is known for it’s not-so-kpop sound and a tough front. The 6 member boygroup had released an EP Carnival early in the year and went on to go on one of the largest tours they’ve had. B.A.P being a long-running group isn’t a stranger to tours, and they’ve often impressed their fans with their lovely charms and hyped up environments that they provide on these shows. Currently they are touring in Japan, with an upcoming show in Osaka.
