Dalshabet makes a comeback with “Someone like you”. It’s the second track on their mini album “Naturalness”. This is the 1st comeback for them as a four member group as a celebration for their 5th year anniversary and I can say the girls have surely not disappointed us at all. It’s a fun and impressive song. It’s upbeat and somewhat reminds us of the 80s and 90s!
In the song they talk about how the player deserves someone just like him, who’s unfaithful and selfish, someone who doesn’t care about other’s feelings and someone as stupid like himself.
The dance steps in the MV are graceful and elegant and really cool at the same time. The girls look gorgeous throughout the MV.
They sit and try to plan out how to catch the player red-handed! They get into a gym and do all kinds of sports, to get ready to face the player who dared to play with their hearts.
As the video comes to an end the girls are seeing wearing dresses and carrying plastic guns.
They enter the club where the player is as expected flirting with other girls. The four girls point their gun towards the flirt who broke their hearts and what shoots out of the gun is surprisingly confetti! The guy looks utterly shocked as he watches the girls go towards the dance floor having fun and simply enjoying themselves.
The confetti is the girls’ way of celebrating that they are all over the guy and they know that they deserve much better than someone who doesn’t even care for them.
The whole song and MV is fun and makes you want to dance along. Even the chorus of the song is pretty catchy. Losing members is always a difficult phase for everyone but Dal Shabet has done a flawless job with this album regardless of everything that happened.
The mini album contains 7 songs:
- Someone Like U
- From Head To Toe (Subin Solo)
- Nice Guy (Feat. 심스) (Serri Solo)
- Dreams Come True (Ahyoung Solo)
- Because You Said You Loved Me (Woohee Solo)
- Someone Like U Inst.
Hope the girls receive lots of love through this album and continue to gain success! What do you think about their comeback?
