GOT7 released their first teaser to kindle impatience and curiosity among their fans.
With cinematic visuals and poetic verses, GOT7 is back on screen. The well-known septet released their first cinema trailer on April 6 midnight KST making the k-world puzzle with merry. After five months since their release of, Call My Name, the act is back for the first time in the year. The eleventh mini-album of the group, DYE is expected to be released on April 20 along with their title track, “Not Buy The Moon.”
The Cinema Trailer
The trailer of 2 minutes emphasizes on the relationship between the group and their beloved IGOT7s, as the prologue takes references from the famous Shakespeare’s play “Romeo and Juliet.” The most preferred balcony scene from the play is also depicted with a cartoonistic representation of an Ahgase and the group themselves.
“O, swear not by the moon,” says the theatric narration, quoting from the play and the members are seen penning down their own lines in a piece of paper. The prologue furthermore brings various allegories and metaphors probing into various aspects of love and sacrifice. The line says, “My body will be your sheath. Rust inside my body and let me die,” referring to how the lover wants to be the protector till the end as a sheath to its blade. As the artistic trailer finally wraps, the members dressed as ancient princes come together to compile a book and naming it after their title track, “Not By The Moon.”
Adding up to the trailer, the teasers for the day continued as poetic verses stated in the video were released as teaser images. The pretty looking lyric images get to show only a glimpse of what is coming next.
