Jeong Jinwoon, the maknae of 2AM, currently active as a solo singer, appeared on the August 5 broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myungsoo’s Radio Show” and talked about the future of his group which has been on hiatus.
Jeong Jinwoon updated viewers about the members, stating, “Jo Kwon hyung has recently reduced his famous “kkab” and is working on music… Seulong hyung recently opened a pub.”
He added, “There’s a studio above the pub so we meet there to talk about 2AM’s album.”
When Park Myungsoo asked if 2AM would be promoting any time soon, Jeong Jinwoon answered, “We often meet and talk about it. I think it would be good if people anticipate it.”
Having debuted in 2008 along with 2PM under JYP Entertainment, 2AM has been on an indefinite hiatus since 2015, upon the members Seulong and Jinwoon having chosen to not renew their contracts. However JYP Entertainment reassured fans that this did not mean that the group was disbanding.
Meanwhile, Jeong Jinwoon recently appeared in the JTBC drama Madame Antoine earlier this year alongside Han Yeseul and Sung Joon. His last release was the track “Will” featuring Tiger JK, earlier this June:
2AM’s last release was “Over the Destiny” in 2014:
