K-Pop wins big at China’s 2016 iQIYI All-Star Carnival

EXO, INFINITE, Girls' Generation and more pick up awards at 2016 iQIYA All-Star Carnival

Last night’s 2016 iQIYI All-Star Carnival held in Beijing, China, honored K-Pop artists with a grand total of FIVE awards!

Power group EXO received the ‘Asia Best Popularity Award‘ which was honestly no surprise considering the massive fandom the boys have accumulated ever since their debut in 2012 (or 2011 if fan girls want to get technical about it). They also performed their 2015 hits “Call Me Baby” and “Love Me Right”.

f(x)’s stunning Victoria was awarded the ‘Asia’s Most Influential Award‘ which is an honor for an artist. The beautiful former gymnast is a multi-faceted star who is incredibly talented as an artist, and is also known to be very humble and kind.

Of course, the ladies of f(x) were there to cheer on their group mate and also performed their latest hit “4 Walls” at the 2016 iQIYI All-Star Carnival.

Girls’ Generation picked up the ‘Asia’s Best Group Award‘ in the female category, and set hearts aflutter with their divine performance of “Lion Heart.”

Super Junior received the ‘Asia’s Best Group Award‘ in the male category, with charismatic leader Leeteuk receiving the award on behalf of the boys of Super Junior.

Last but not least, INFINITE  dressed to the nines in black, bagged the ‘Best Asian Performance Award‘! Known for their killer moves and perfect synchronicity, the boys of INFINITE definitely deserved it!

Take a look at some of the pictures from the 2016 iQIYI All-Star Carnival below.

With K-Pop acts winning all the ‘Asia’s Best’ awards at the 2016 iQIYI All-Star Carnival, it seems that the Hallyu wave just keeps on growing!
