For this comeback the soulful R&B and Ballad singer K.Will has joined hands with the mesmerizing ballad duo Davichi. The name of the song is called ‘You call it romance (니가 하면 로멘스) ‘
The music video is starred Hyungwon from Monsta X , Choi Won Myung and Yoon Ye Joo. I’m totally not complaining about the cast but on the other hand, it also makes me wonder when will we ever see K.Will starring in his own MV?
The song is about a love triangle in which two guys are fighting over a girl and also about the girls indecisive nature for not making up her mind and choosing one of the guys. The song has a really sweet tone which is very light on the ears and it goes perfectly well with this winter season. The lyrics are also really fun to sing along.
The music video starts of with showing Hyungwon and his adorable smile that could kill all the fangirls. He meets up with Yoon Ye Joo who is supposedly his teacher in the school hallway. He smiles at her and hands her a big candy and again flashes his killer smile.
The scene then shifts to the teachers house where she makes herself a cup of coffee and sits on the couch. While drinking her coffee she gets a phone call and to answer that she keeps her cup on the table. While talking on the phone she takes her cup back to drink the coffee but the coffee cup has changed into a colorful mug.
( The cup is white in color here)
(But here you can see that the color has changed)
There is a scene where she dresses herself up like a young college student and then goes on a date with Hyungwon. They have a small date like any other young couple.
We then see her meet up with a guy (Choi Won Myung) in a coffee shop and she is dressed as her normal self.
There are also scenes in the music video which show that while thinking about HyungWon all the things in her surrounding change into colorful and bright colors. Instead of water, she pours herself a cup of candies from the jug. Even when she opens her fridge a whole lot of candies fall out. Or when she tries to cook tofu it turns into a bowl of candies.
We then see her sitting on a couch watching TV and it shows two guys in a boxing ring fighting with each other. It indicates that she is going through a conflict in deciding which guy she likes.
Almost at the end of the music video we see a twist. It shows that after giving the candy to his teacher (Yoon Ye Joo) Hyungwon goes around giving candies to other girls and his other teachers as well. She realizes that he’s being sweet to everyone and just smiles and walks away.
The whole music video is an imagination by Yoon Ye Joo who at the start is swayed by Hyungwon’s sweetness when he gives her the candy. She also goes through a difficult time choosing between Hyungwon or Choi Won Myung who she is actually dating but in the end it’s all her imagination.
I really like how they have shot the whole music video and how they have portrayed her feelings. The idea of turning everything into candies and bright colors was really good.
Personally, I really like the song and music video. The song makes me feel like snuggling up in bed while drinking a cup of hot chocolate and listening to this song. How about you’ll? Did you enjoy this comeback of K.Will?
