X1 might have officially disbanded but the love and promise shared between the group and their fans still continue.
On January 19 X1 members, Hangyul and Donhyun released a short video confirming the date and venue of their upcoming fanmeet and inviting their fans to be part of it.
The MBK Entertainment’s Pocket Idols decided to host a fanmeet as they promised earlier to their beloved, One Its. Dressed in warm pastel clothing, the members expressed their gratitude and excitement of meeting their fans after a very long time. The Duo also becomes the first members of the group to have a personal interaction with their fans after hiatus and the official disbandment.
During their first Vlive appearance called, “Thank you, One It,” on January 11, Hangyul promised for a fanmeet if the live video receives more than 100 million hearts. Within minutes, One Its managed to surpass 200 million hearts wanting the members to hold a meet soon. The efforts of the fans were indeed rewarded as Lee Hangyul and Nam Donhyun will be meeting them shortly.
The fans were waiting for such moment to and could not be happier, as they flooded the YouTube comment section with love and support for their idols.
The fanmeet, “Happy Day” will be held on the 2nd of February at Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea. More details on the event are expected to be shared sooner.
Lee Han Gyul and Nam Don were among the finalists of PRODUCE X 101 and was part of the group, X1 formed after the survival show. The boy group soon rose to popularity with their debut and had to, unfortunately, disband following the voting manipulation allegation. Despite the official announcement, the fans’ hearts still sing the anthem of eleven and seen continuously supporting the members through their individual journey. As the fanmeet being one of their hopes, many positive happenings are expected to be witnessed in the future.
