S.Coups, Vernon and Woozi from the monster rookie group SEVENTEEN are back with a collaboration with the talented diva Ailee. Seventeen and Ailee both recently finished their promotions for ‘Mansae’ and ‘Mind your own business’ respectively.
They released a music video for their project single ‘Q&A’. The song has been getting a lot of attention for it’s witty and youthful lyrics with a pop-funky sound and is completed by S.Coups and Vernon’s lyrical rap, Woozi’s soft vocals and Ailee’s strong vocals. The song is composed by Woozi and the lyrics have been written by all the 3 members.
People were surprised by this collaboration but here is a small fun fact – S.Coups, Woozi and Ailee have known each other since their trainee days that’s why fans of both Seventeen and Ailee were looking forward to see how this collaboration would turn out.
Now time to review the music video .
The music video features the boys studying really hard trying to understand how a relationship works and how they can please their girlfriends. There are a lot of cute as well as funny elements in this music video. The music video also features the pretty actress Lee Yeol Eum known for her role Ga Young which she played in the drama ‘The village : Achiara’s secret’.
The music video starts of with Vernon’s rap and shows how the boys are preparing for for their upcoming “exam” which refers to relationship in the video. Different types of books based on relationships are shown from which the boys are studying about it.
The next scenes show how much the boys are struggling trying to study about relationships. Their expressions say it all.
There are scenes where the boys are caught off guard with the questions that their girlfriend asks them. Question’s like “Do I look any different today?” Or “Is that girl over there prettier?” Or “Do I look fat?”
The boys are seen taken back by those questions and they clearly don’t know how to answer to those questions.Vernon also tries to see if there actually is a difference in his girlfriend and fails to find any.
With only one day left for their “exam” the boys are trying their best to study. They keep reading books, make notes, writes on post-its which results in them getting a nosebleed and also falling asleep.
So FINALLY the D-Day the “exam” day is here!
The boys need to listen to the question and choose the correct answer. The question is -“Is saying sorry enough?
1) Yes, it’s enough!
2) Why are you like this just to me?
3)Wait! Let me go and ask my mom.
4) I got late because I was picking up a present for our anniversary.
The boys need to choose from the 4 options and as you can see they are struggling yet again.
Woozi’s expression says it all~
Well, you can see S.coups is cheating ~
After a lot of struggling the boys finally understood what their girlfriends expect from them. No wonder one of them scored a high score of 92 / 100 ( Any Guesses who!! )
Next time they’ll surely get a perfect score! Hwaiting boys~
This music video has a very light feel to it. It has so many bright colors that makes you happy and puts a smile on your faces while watching it. We’re loving the song as well as the MV and also looking forward to see more such collaborations in the future. Everyone should definitely check out the music video and give them a lot of love and support.
