With the successful reunion last year, the iconic 90s K-pop band, SECHSKIES to set released their fifth full-length album this month!
YG Entertainment reveal that the album will be released on September 21 and will consist of entirely new songs. It will be the group’s first new full-length record in 18 years since “Com Back,” its fourth regular album released in 1999.
SECHSKIES debuted in 1997 and enjoyed a successful run as one of the leading first-generation K-pop boy bands until they broke up in 2000. The team made a surprise comeback in June of last year by releasing a digital single titled “Three Words”.
The group released “2016 Re-ALBUM” last December. A remake album of 10 previous hits, and earlier this year put out “The 20th Anniversary,” which had two new songs – “Be Well” and “Sad Song”, and nine remastered versions of past hit tracks.
The five-member band has held a series of fan-related events marking its 20th anniversary this year and plans to hold a concert at the Gocheok Skydome in western Seoul on Sept. 23.
