T.O.P to be Part of German-Chinese Movie ‘Out of Control’


After successfully finishing off Big Bang‘s ‘MADE’ concerts, Choi Seung Hyun(T.O.P) is back to the big screen with a German/Chinese co-production movie “Out of Control” financed by Dreams of Dragon (Wilson Qui).

On April 5, YG Entertainment announced that T.O.P has been finalized for the movie which is being directed by Axel Sanda, a German director whose earlier projects include “Day at Black Rock” and “Fast Track – No Limits.”

The movie is an action-thriller which caters upon a criminal blackmailing the owners of 30 limousines through a computer virus. Number of stunts will be performed by the actors and T.O.P being one of them!!

A number of Chinese and German actors are part of the film including some other international personalities. Top Chinese actress Cecilia Cheung will also be making a comeback as the lead actress for the film. The movie is being shot in English although it has not been confirmed if this applies for T.O.P’s scenes too. The shooting already began in Germany from February 22 for a period of 45 days with locations as Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Wuppertal, Bergisch, Mettmann, Bad Oeynhausen, Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Aldenhoven. On March 31, T.O.P left for Germany.

YG Entertainment shared that T.O.P has been receiving lots of drama and movie offers not only from Korea, but also from China and Japan. T.O.P decided to go for the film as he was impressed by the character.

It has also been announced that T.O.P will not be able to be a part of the fan meet in Japan on April 22 because of the filming.

The movie is likely to premiere in China around autumn.
