Zico releases his first mini album “Gallery” with ‘Eureka’ as title track

Zico releases his much anticipated first solo mini album "Gallery"

2015 has been a busy year for Block B’s leader Zico. Starting from the release of his second single “Well Done” in February, completing his bachelor’s degree graduation in march, producing songs for the female rap competition show “Unpretty Rapstar” and “Show me the money“, collaborating with multiple K-pop artists including Sistar’s Hyolyn and Paloalto for “Dark Panda” in august and featuring on a couple of songs including f(x) “4 walls” – “Traveler” in October. Phew! it’s definitely been a year filled with activity for ZICO.

But the year has not yet ended for Zico as he dropped his first solo mini album “Gallery” on December 7 at midnight along with the music video for his title track ‘Eureka’. The album consist of 6 tracks in total.

The animated MV of “Yes or No” was released as a single in October followed by  subsequent releases of the tracks “Boys and Girls” and “Day” in November. “Yes or No” is the original version of “Up All Night” which became an instant hit after it was first featured on the show “Unpretty Rapstar“. The song topped multiple real-time music charts in Korea on the day of its release, while the track “Boys and Girls” made an All-Kill conquering seven music charts including Melon and Naver while it still continues to remain in the top 10 even weeks after its release.

The three new songs  released on December 7th are “Veni Vidi Vici feat. DJ Vegun”, “Eureka feat. Zion T” and “Pride and Prejudice feat. Suran”. All the three songs are produced by Zico and as expected these hip-hop pieces are edgy, catchy and trendy.

The title track Eureka has a very strong bass line and a killer saxophone tune which makes the song even more jazzy. The rap of Zion T flawlessly matches with Zico’s strong and deep voice. In the Eureka MV, Zico along with Zion T, appear as classy dudes and the track has an old school detective-flick feel to it. The chorus is guaranteed to stay in our head and make us groove. Different eras and styles of sexiness are unveiled in the video and as expected the video is rated 19+.

Get ready to shout “Eureka” along with Zico in his MV!
